It’s not uncommon to hear people say that network marketing doesn’t work, or that it’s a pyramid scheme. These naysayers are quick to point out why people fail in network marketing. However, what they fail to realize is that just because most people fail, doesn’t mean that it’s a bad business model. The truth is that people fail in network marketing because they don’t have a solid foundation to build upon. They need to find out why people fail in network marketing rather than giving up. They don’t have a proven system, a mentor, or the right mindset.
Not Taking Action
I’ve been a part of the network marketing industry for about 10 years. I’ve seen success and failure in that time. I myself have experienced the casual, nonchalant attitude of network marketers who simply don’t care about their business. I have spent the last three years working hard to make my network marketing business a success and have made a lot of progress. I’ve been a part of a lot of different online forums and groups and have read thousands of blogs about network marketing.
The one thing that every successful network marketer has in common is that they take action. They simply don’t sit around waiting for others to take action. They don’t sit around waiting for others to work so that they can reap the rewards.
Whether you’re new to network marketing or a veteran, you’ve likely at one time or another experienced an “aha!” moment when you realize your business is in trouble. The trouble can be a multitude of things, but the outcome is always the same: a lack of activity in your business.
Nobody likes to fail. So why people fail in network marketing? They try and try but just can’t seem to get a leg up. What’s the reason for this? These people are not taking action. It’s that simple. If you don’t take action, you’ll never accomplish anything. That doesn’t mean you need to be the most active network marketer out there. But if you aren’t taking action, you aren’t going to make any progress.
Not a good fit with the company or product
If you are in business for yourself, you know that you have to have a great attitude. No matter what is going on, you have to try to keep a positive attitude and you have to keep moving forward. Those that have a negative attitude will not be successful in network marketing and those that are negative struggle to keep people around them.
So if you find that you are not making the progress that you want to make in your business, or if you are not finding the right type of people that you want to be around, you are not a good fit for the company or product that you are involved with. In this case, you need to move on to something that is a better fit for you.
It is very important to make sure that you are a good fit for the company and the product. You want to make sure that you are able to sell the product and that you love the company and the people that you will be working with. The main problem that people have with joining network marketing companies is that they feel that they are a bad fit with the company or the product. It’s a huge secret to why people fail in network marketing!
Not trying to build your business, just supplementing income
A lot of people think that network marketing is a pyramid scheme and that every network marketer is trying to build their business. While this is true for some people, it is not true for everyone. The biggest qualification that most network marketers have is that they are looking for a way to supplement their income. Perhaps they have a full-time job and are looking for a way to make some more money in their spare time, or maybe they are looking for a second source of income. In either case, if you are not trying to build your business, you are not a network marketer.
Many network marketers aren’t trying to build their business, they are just trying to supplement their income. That’s fine, but it also means they are working on a smaller scale. And that can result in smaller amounts of money flowing into your bank account. But, don’t let that discourage you.
If your goal is to supplement your income, you can still make a lot of money. Just remember that your numbers are lower to start, and you’re going to have to work a little harder to reach them. But when you do reach your goals, you will be so grateful that you made it happen. So, if you are looking for supplemental income, don’t be discouraged – just get started and stop wondering why people fail in network marketing!
Not committed to their business
The truth is most network marketing companies are small businesses, and those who run them must have experience in running a small business, getting it to break even, and then growing it into a profitable enterprise. Running a network marketing business is not much different than running any other small business, simply in that you make decisions the same way you would any other business, and you have the same responsibilities.
As a network marketing consultant, your job is to enable your Independent Distributor to develop a strong and profitable business. The Independent Distributor is the heart of your business and the one you’ll be working with the most. Your job is to teach them what they need to know in order to succeed.
There’s nothing wrong with wanting to earn money from a part-time business, but there is a big difference between that and actually trying to build a business. If your goal is to make money from home by building a business, you’ll have to be dedicated!
