Top 5 Best Downline Building Techniques That Work

by | Feb 12, 2021 | 0 comments

A downline builder is like a personal trainer but for your business, not your body but just like training your body, you need to make sure you are focusing on what is important while downline building. If you’ve got an online business you’d like to grow, and you believe the best way to do that is by recruiting new members into your downline, then this article is for you.

1. Create a Plan for Growth

If you want to grow, you need to have a plan. Downline Building isn’t easy, especially if you’ve never done it before: A good plan is required.

What will you promote to your downline? How can you be of value to your downline? Can you offer the 4 steps to success with your downline builder software setup as outlined on our homepage? These are all things you’ll need to consider, but of the 4 steps, step 4 is the most important: traffic. If you don’t have traffic to facilitate your downline building efforts, you won’t be able to succeed. Guaranteed.

2. Target the Right Prospects

The key to success is targeting the right prospects when you are building your downline. Targeting is what marketers do when trying to find the right audience for the product they promote. Let’s say you are trying to lose weight: in that situation, you are not looking for bodybuilding equipment. You are looking for a diet plan, supplement, or help to succeed.

Although those audiences and targeting efforts might be similar, if you target either/or with the other’s interest, you won’t get very far. It’s important to do research, and see what your audience is looking for, and adjusting your pitch.

3. Make It Easy to Get Your Products or Services in Front of New People

This might sound silly or stupid, but don’t forget what is perhaps the most obvious things about selling online: When you are downline building, make it as easy for your downline as possible to get access to the products or services you offer.

It will help conversion, but also word of mouth. We’ve seen people put great offers behind opt-in walls which normally makes total sense, but sometimes it’s better to just offer the product right away. If the person is not interested, 4 and a half follow up email are not going to easily change that, unless you are offering your product or service for a nickel on the dollar.

Make it easy for people to get what you promote.

4. Treat Your Team Well, and Work Hard

Believe it or not, we’ve seen downlines being treated like shit. Being called names, being told to just shut up, or simply turned away: “Go somewhere else.” they said.

We might think it’s the most normal thing in the world, but treat people with humanity and decency. Many people who are looking to build their own downline and building an income on the internet are just getting started, or simply just “giving it a try”. Try to make sure your setup is newbie-friendly, and ensure support is available. If you can get someone started and succeed, you’ll have a downline member for life!

5. Do More Than Sell, TEACH!

Your job is to turn regular members into followers: devotees to what you offer. Make sure it’s good, and make sure the products you recommend are. There’s a lot of trash and garbage around, and when you are downline building you want to make sure that what are you providing is of high quality.

Whether it is the product or service you promote, or the training you provide, ensure it is of the highest quality you can deliver. Don’t put everything behind a paywall or opt-in page. Sometimes, you’ll benefit more from giving stuff away for free, than getting something in return ;).
